Lead Engineer, ML Platform

Overview

1. 1This role sits within Money Forward’s company-wide AI & data strategy organization (CDAO Office).
2. 2In the Financier domain (financial services / credit), you will lead the technical strategy and execution of an ML platform.
3. 3You will be responsible for end-to-end technical decision-making for designing a secure and efficient foundation to leverage large-scale financial transaction data, and for the technical direction of product implementation.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. 1Define the ML platform technical strategy and roadmap, translating business requirements into technical specifications and deciding medium-to-long-term architectural direction.
2. 2Design and oversee large-scale data engineering, including data pipelines for high-traffic environments using Databricks and AWS with performance considerations.
3. 3Define implementation policies for governance and security, establishing 'Security by Design' including IAM/permission design, balancing security with operational ease.
4. 4Drive technical alignment with stakeholders, coordinating and prioritizing with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Business teams based on technical validity.

• Software engineering experience (approx. 5+ years)
