- Over 5 years of development experience
- Holder of ISTQB (including JSTQB) Foundation Level certification or equivalent knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent knowledge
- Experience leading a development team
- Experience in formulating test plans and test strategies
- Experience with code-based API testing tools such as RestAssured or Karate
- English: Business level

- Understanding of testing techniques (ISTQB Advanced Level knowledge)
- Japanese proficiency (N2 or higher)

- 年収 7,908,000円〜1,500万円 Monthly salary system ※Includes fixed allowances for up to 45 hours of legal overtime, legal holiday work, and 40 hours of late-night work.<Salary Range> Min 659,000 JPY / month（7,908,000 JPY / year）- 1,250,000JPY / month（15,000,000 JPY / year） Each including fixed allowances of 191,330 JPY - 362,852 JPY / month.A「High Performance Bonus」may be paid to employees who receive high evaluations based on semi-annual evaluations in addition to their salary. ※Please note that the remuneration of the High Performance Bonus is subject to change according to the company's performance.

Recruitment Background
- We have partnered with Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Inc. and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation to establish a new company in preparation for the launch of a new digital bank.
- We are currently seeking candidates for the position of QA Manager as part of this initiative.
- ※ This position involves employment with Money Forward, Inc., and a secondment to the new company (SMBC Money Forward Bank Preparatory Corporation). The evaluation system and employee benefits will follow the policies of Money Forward, Inc.
Main Responsibilities
- The mission of this role as an SDET is to improve the quality of Japan's digital banking system. In this position, you will be responsible for leading quality improvements and testing enhancements.
- Review and improve existing API tests
- Define test strategies for API testing and drive continuous improvement
- Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines
Unique Experience Gained
- Lead collaborative development, design reviews, and post-mortems with our international teams.
- Define quality governance specific to the banking domain, including formalizing release criteria, severity definitions (Sev1-3), traceability requirements, and audit readiness protocols.
