The role also drives process improvements, standardization, and alignment with the Next Generation PLM system.

- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Engineering required.
- Work experience in QA or R&D in medical device, pharmaceutical or life-science industry

- Logical thinking and systems thinking skills.
- Have project management skills with multitasking ability to achieve annual goals.
- Experience in developing and commercializing regulated devices under Design Control and knowledge of applicable regulations.
- Experience in facilitating process improvement workshops in an international environment
- Familiar with Six Sigma Approach (Green belt or upper desirable)
Other Considerations (travel/hours availability, etc.)：
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on project and business needs.
- Will work with global teams, availability will include working across the associated time zones.

仕事内容
Summary
- This role is responsible for Product Design & Development and supports the Global Process Owner
- This position will communicate and negotiate with the relevant cross-functional leaders to implement new and update existing development processes in Olympus on a global basis.
- More specifically, this position is responsible for driving product development process harmonization between regional and global SOPs, for example, using Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) to improve technology maturity level alignment among DCs by integrating TRL in a regional SOP.
Summary
- Continuously improve and optimize the global design and development process for speed, productivity, quality, and cost to achieve development excellence.
- Implement global standardization of best practices for Design Controls incl. Design and Development Planning, Design Inputs, Design Output, Design Verification & Validation, Design Reviews, Design and Development Files and Design Changes
- Collaborate with other functions (like CMSO, CQO, Medical Global PMO) to organize and implement cross-functional efforts to change the product development process towards an integrational product and process development.
Details
- Collaborate with QARA and regional design control team to standardize global development process.
- Collaborate with regional design control team to standardize global Pre-PD development process
- Cooperate with the global expert teams for process improvements and/or for establishing guidelines and playbooks to support the process application and improvements.
- Implement industry practice and methods such as TRL and System Engineering into development process
- Drive alignment of global process with Next Generation PLM system.
- Assist with maintaining global rules such as OGBR-M
- Set up a global RACI for process responsibilities
