Senior Backend Engineer

Job Description

1. 1Design, build, and maintain robust, high-performance software applications and systems.
2. 2Tackle complex technical challenges with creative and effective solutions.
3. 3Produce clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices.
4. 4Lead discussions on technical design, architecture, and long-term system strategy.
5. 5Mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and sharing technical expertise.
6. 6Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability.
7. 7Keep current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
8. 8Actively contribute to Agile processes such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
9. 9Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, business owners, and fellow engineers to deliver aligned outcomes.
10. 10Help define technical specifications, project scopes, and implementation plans.

応募資格（必須）

• 3+ years of experience developing web applications using modern frameworks.
• 3+ years of backend development experience with Python and other programming languages.
• Proven experience in developing SaaS products for enterprise customers.
• More than 2 years of experience mentoring or leading team members in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Knowledge with major cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Practical experience with database technologies, including both SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Hands-on experience using generative AI for software development tasks such as code generation, code review assistance, and improving engineering productivity

• Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N2 or conversational level.
