Why We Are Hiring

As our business continues to expand, we are strengthening the organization at our India development center.
To support future product growth, we need an engineering leader who not only possesses strong technical expertise but can also formulate mid- to long-term technology strategies, manage engineering organizations, and drive decision-making from a business perspective.
In this position, you will serve as the technical leader of the India development center and lead the development organization from three perspectives: technology, organization, and business. You will also play a key role in strengthening our global development structure.

Responsibilities

As the Engineering Director of our India development center, you will be responsible for a wide range of areas, from technology strategy planning to organizational management.

Technical Leadership

Design and review system architecture
Engage in hands-on software development when necessary
Visualize and drive the resolution of technical debt
Manage incident response and drive improvements for production incidents

Technology Strategy

Develop and drive multi-year technology roadmaps
Research competitors’ technology trends and technology stacks
Plan and promote strategies related to non-functional requirements, including security, anomaly detection, and development productivity improvement

Business

Deepen understanding of business models and key customers, and reflect that understanding in the development organization
Participate in initiatives such as Quarterly Business Reviews — QBRs — to deepen business understanding and propose improvements
Manage and optimize development-related costs, including personnel costs, infrastructure costs, and system costs

Organizational Management

Improve motivation and engagement across the engineering organization
Enhance and develop the technical capabilities of the entire team
Develop future engineering managers and technical leaders
Improve development productivity and operational excellence, including through the use of AI
Foster an organizational culture in which members proactively identify technical issues and drive improvements that contribute to business growth
