- Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CDCP, DCPRO, or BICSI.

About Organization
Cloud Platform Department provides end-to-end services for Rakuten Mobile’s virtualized infrastructure, from build to operations.
Our Data Center E&O Team manages the full lifecycle of our data centers—from build and decommissioning to day-to-day operations and cost management across ~40 sites nationwide.
Our organization consists of over 140 professionals, including experts in virtualization, networking, hardware, field engineering, and project management, many of whom bring extensive experience from data center operators, telecommunications companies, and IT equipment vendors.
Job Duties
In this role, you will be responsible for both day-to-day operations and strategic data center build/decommissioning projects:
Daily Operations: Service monitoring, incident management, maintenance coordination, change management, capacity planning, and vendor management.
Build & Decommissioning: Designing and procuring data center infrastructure across Japan, ensuring delivery aligns with project timelines and requirements.
Strategic Initiatives: Depending on your experience, you will contribute to operational improvements, cost management, project support, and business planning.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
