Your new role
- As a Finance Services Supporter within our manufacturing site finance team, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the smooth running of accounting operations in a global context. You will communicate often in English – with global headquarters and our shared service center in India – giving you daily exposure to international finance practices.
- Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting monthly closing activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in alignment with global standards
- Collaborating with global finance teams and the shared service center in India on day-to-day accounting processes
- Assisting with annual budget planning, forecasting and variance analysis
- Processing and reviewing transactions across a broad range of accounting areas including accounts payable, fixed assets and cost accounting
- Contributing to continuous improvement of finance processes and internal controls
- Supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests from local and global stakeholders
Your new department
- You will join a close-knit finance team of four, reporting to the Finance Manager at the Koriyama Factory. The team includes two highly experienced colleagues and one member who joined relatively recently – together creating a supportive environment with the capacity and willingness to develop junior talent. While the factory sits under the Tokyo headquarters as a legal entity, the factory is directly under the global organization and a lot of your interactions will be with global stakeholders and the shared service center in India.
