Job/Group Overview
We are the software development team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry and has a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions.
Our mission is to support the equity business and IB business in cooperation with Business users by driving project delivery, gathering and analysing requirements, and coordinating across stakeholders.
Team members will be involved in a variety of in-house projects, leveraging the latest technologies, modern development practices, and generative AI.
The team consists of multinational members, and communication within the team and with stakeholders is conducted in both Japanese and English.

最先端のテクノロジー、最新の開発手法、そして生成AIを活用しながら、さまざまな内製開発やプロジェクトに携わっていただきます。
チーム内や関連チームとのコミュニケーションは日本語と英語の両方で行われます。
Responsibilities
Requirement analysis through close communication with business stakeholders, in both Japanese and English
Planning and management of projects of varying scale
Creating technical specifications for application development, primarily in English
Coordination of development activities with development members and vendors, in both Japanese and English
Reporting to management and project stakeholders, in both English and Japanese
Agile development and DevOps experience (if of interest)
