Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated EHS Coordinator to support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs at a major global technology client site located in Yokohama, Kanagawa.
Working closely with the EHS Manager and site leadership team, you will help maintain regulatory compliance, foster a strong safety culture, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Support EHS programs and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company standards
Participate in hazard identification, risk assessments, and implementation of corrective actions
Maintain EHS procedures, emergency response plans, and operational playbooks
Conduct workplace inspections and audits while maintaining compliance records
Support incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
Review permits, licenses, and safety documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
Coordinate activities related to hazardous materials and waste management
Support fire and life safety programs, industrial hygiene initiatives, ergonomics, and safety training
Respond to EHS concerns raised by employees, contractors, and stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve safety performance while enhancing operational efficiency
