We are the software development team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry and has a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions.

Our mission is to build and support the equity business in cooperation with Business users.

Members will be involved in a variety of in-house projects, utilising the latest technology and development practices.

The team consists of multinational members, and communication within the team and with stakeholders is conducted in both Japanese and English.

Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications that power securities trading, transaction processing, and client-facing interfaces.

Partner with business, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions.

L3 technical support where necessary.

Coordinate with business stakeholders, and related systems, using both Japanese and English.

Since this position is hiring as a developer under JBS, there is a possibility of rotation within JBS.

This job description is for a developer role, and in all cases requires the candidate to have the ability to do both development and L3 support at the coding level.
