応募資格

必須

Degree, diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline
8+ years of experience in facility operations and maintenance within commercial, campus, or mission-critical environments
Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior engineering or supervisory position
HVAC / ACMV Systems
Strong technical expertise in:
- Electrical Distribution Systems
- UPS & Standby Power Systems
- Fire Protection Systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Experience leading incident response and root cause investigations
Knowledge of Japanese facility management regulations and safety requirements
Business-level Japanese and working-level English
Experience using CMMS/EAM platforms and reporting tools

歓迎

First-Class or Second-Class Electrical Chief Engineer certification (電気主任技術者)
Building Equipment Inspector certification (建築設備検査員)
Energy Manager or Fire Protection Equipment certification
Experience supporting multinational or technology-sector clients
Experience working within mission-critical, data center, laboratory, or high-availability environments
Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.)
Knowledge of seismic engineering and disaster resilience planning
Korean language skills are advantageous

仕事内容

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to lead the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of critical building systems at our client's Tokyo campus. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, incident management, vendor oversight, and strategic facility improvement activities.
The successful candidate will serve as the senior technical authority for the site, ensuring optimum performance of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building management systems while supporting business continuity and operational excellence.

Facility Operations & Critical Systems Management

Lead the operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and Building Management Systems (BMS)
Monitor building performance and drive reliability improvements
Manage critical system risks and develop mitigation strategies
Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs
Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize operational disruptions
Manage CMMS/EAM work order processes and asset records

Incident & Emergency Management

Act as the primary technical lead during facility incidents and emergencies
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support emergency response planning for earthquakes, fire, power outages, flooding, and other critical events
Participate in on-call support and escalation processes

Health, Safety & Compliance

Promote a strong safety culture and regulatory compliance
Ensure adherence to Japanese building, fire, and workplace safety regulations
Manage permits, inspections, certifications, and audit requirements
Conduct safety audits and monitor corrective action completion

Team Leadership & Vendor Management

Lead and mentor engineering technicians and service providers
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management
Manage contractor performance, SLAs, KPIs, and service quality
Ensure adequate staffing and technical capability across the site

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client and internal stakeholders
Communicate operational risks, technical recommendations, and project updates
Prepare and deliver technical reports and performance metrics

Projects, Asset Management & Sustainability

Manage asset lifecycle planning and replacement programs
Support facility upgrades, capital projects, and infrastructure improvements
Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Implement continuous improvement and innovation programs to improve reliability and reduce operational costs

Working Environment

Participation in on-call rotation and emergency response activities
Occasional travel within Japan and the APAC region
