- Significant Middle Office or Operations experience supporting bond or fixed-income trading in a major financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of Japan financial markets and the operational and control environment supporting an onshore securities business.
- Working knowledge of trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliations, positions, cash, reference data and downstream reporting.
- Proven change and transformation delivery experience, including automation, process simplification or platform implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple data sources and distinguish facts, assumptions and risks.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex or sensitive matters to senior audiences.
- Professional fluency in Japanese and English.
- High standards of integrity, ownership, collaboration and attention to detail.

仕事内容
Purpose of the role
- To support business areas with day-to-day processing, reviewing, reporting, trading and issue resolution.
Accountabilities
- Support various business areas with day-to-day initiatives including processing, reviewing, reporting, trading, and issue resolution.
- Collaboration with teams across the bank to align and integrate operational processes.
- Identification of areas for improvement and providing recommendations in operational processes.
- Development and implementation of operational procedures and controls to mitigate risks and maintain operational efficiency.
- Development of reports and presentations on operational performance and communicate findings to internal senior stakeholders.
- Identification of industry trends and developments to implement best practice in banking operations.
- Participation in projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
