Backend & Data Engineer

職務内容

1. 1Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate data infrastructure and applications supporting product master data.
2. 2Build and maintain batch applications using Java and Spring Boot, and develop ETL pipelines using Apache Beam.
3. 3Work with cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform including Dataflow, BigQuery, Bigtable, Dataproc, Cloud Run, networking components, and Terraform.
4. 4Design and optimize database schemas while improving SQL performance and system efficiency.
5. 5Manage and troubleshoot services in Linux-based environments using shell scripting when required.
6. 6Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders on detailed design, implementation, testing, and operational improvements.
7. 7Support continuous enhancement of data quality, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
8. 8For more experienced candidates, participate in requirements gathering, solution architecture, and system design activities.

応募資格（必須）

• 4+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering with a strong data focus.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Beam (v1.8+).
• Experience creating batch applications using Spring Boot.
• Experience building ETL/data processing pipelines using Apache Beam.
• Strong understanding of unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and performance-focused development practices.
• 2+ years of professional experience working with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with GCP services including networking components, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Dataflow, Bigtable, Dataproc, and Terraform.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and exposure to NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of database design, SQL tuning, and performance evaluation.
• Experience working with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within an engineering team.
• Business-level English communication skills.
• Japanese language ability at conversational level or above.
