Job Description
- Technical General position involves wide range of work across R&D, design (hardware and software), and production engineering, covering product and equipment development to mass production based on optical technologies.
- Depending on assignment and projects, leverage expertise while working across diverse technical fields.
- Product development takes integrated approach combining optical design, electronic circuit design, mechanical design, and software design.
- Many employees who did not major in optics are actively contributing and thriving.
- Environment to continuously challenge in new technologies and fields, developing deep technical expertise and flexibility as an engineer.
Assignment Locations
- Santec AOC Corporation (Optical Components Business)
- Santec LIS Corporation (Optical Measurement Instruments Business)
- Santec OIS Corporation (Ophthalmic Medical Devices Business)
- No assignment to Solution Business Division.
- Assignment and role determined based on expertise, preferences, and aptitude.
Job Responsibilities
- Research & Development: creating new technologies and products from basic research to prototyping and evaluation.
- Design: product specification planning, design, and evaluation across optics, electronics, mechanics, and software.
- Production Engineering: establishing and improving production systems for stable, high-quality mass production.
- Manufacturing: establishing and improving production systems for stable, high-quality mass production.
